Dandelion

You never came, but I never left
This loving heart, now forever cleft

Waiting, a game I’m doomed to play
But this endless path, I’ll never stray

An empty embrace awaits you here
My only bidding, to hold you near

My life, I’ll forsake for a day of bliss;
and I’ll savor every second with a kiss

You dwell in my mind and in my dreams
A lonely dreamer, I was born it seems

With a single gaze, my heart you stole with such ease
Now, alone, I float
like a dandelion on a summer breeze...
